Catawba Science Center is pleased to invite qualifying families to apply for free memberships, camps, classes, and more! CSC may award scholarships to cover a portion of the cost for families who meet the requirements listed below. The scholarship award is based on eligibility, need, family income, and is pending available funding.

ELIGIBILITY:

Open to pre-K through 12th grade families living in Catawba, Caldwell, Burke, Alexander, and Lincoln counties with documented financial need.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Submit the 2023-24 Portal to Science Scholarship Application.

2. Provide documented proof of financial need. Documentation may include a letter or copy of a card from an official social service agency. All information will be kept confidential.

3. Complete income certification and demographic information required for funder reporting purposes. All information will be kept anonymous and confidential.

All materials are due at least one week prior to the date that your desired program begins. Scholarship recipients will be notified via e-mail. Scholarships awards are limited and will be awarded as funding is available.
