API-GBV National Summit Scholarship Portal

Thank you for your interest in obtaining a scholarship to attend the API-GBV National Summit: Growing From Our Roots. We are committed to making the Summit accessible to diverse organizations and individuals. This application portal will provide essential details about the scholarship process, criteria, and benefits.

The Asian Pacific Institute on Gender-Based Violence (API-GBV) is a national culturally specific resource center on domestic violence, sexual violence, trafficking, and other forms of gender-based violence in Asian/Asian-American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities. We are excited to be hosting our National Summit, a space where AAPI advocates working to end violence in their communities can come together to learn from other experts in the field. Our Summit strives to share the most current information and trends in working with and within the AAPI community.

This year's Summit will be held August 27-29, 2024 in San Francisco, CA. Our Summit theme, "Growing from Our Roots," highlights our roots – the original leaders of our movement – and the new generations of advocates sprouting up. We would like to honor history and culture while connecting with forward movement and upward growth.

Goal

To strengthen and uplift the visibility and voice of AAPI-specific programs working within communities at the intersection of gender-based violence and other forms of oppression.
