WVLS Technology Procurement Request

This form indicates your library's interest in procuring new equipment for your library. Completing this form does not imply a final order. After you place a procurement request via this form, WVLS technology staff will contact you to confirm the items and quantity, after which the official order will be placed.


You will not be billed for items until after they are delivered and installed and functioning per expectations.


Lifecycle billing: the cost of the computers and monitors can, upon request, be spread over a 5 year (computers) or 3 year (monitor) period should purchasing create budgeting challenges for a member library.

Matching an old monitor to a new computer often requires an adapter of some sort and occasionally a different cable. Most commonly needed are DVI --> DisplayPort or VGA --> DisplayPort.


You do not need to know exactly which adapter you need at the time of order, and WVLS sill seek to order adapters in bulk, so an additional "adapter charge" may be added to your overall order (usually approximately $10). If you know you have an older monitor, you can indicate the number of adapters you think you may need to complete your setup.
